Introduction
Welcome to Dr. Lim C S, Gastroenterology & Hepatology Clinic
Dr Lim is an experienced consultant physician, gastroenterologist and hepatologist with 17 years of clinical experience. He obtained his medical degree from USM in 2006 and completed a postgraduate membership examination (internal medicine) from the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2013. He completed his subspecialist training in gastroenterology and hepatology in 2018 (under KKM)
Before embarking on his private practice in 2019, Dr Lim gained extensive experience serving Hospital Ipoh, Hospital Teluk Intan, Hospital Selayang, Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Hospital Sungai Buloh and Hospital Seremban. He has completed one-year fellowship training overseas under a scholarship from KKM.
Dr Lim had been in private practice since 2019. He had been working in the greater KL area serving the population from KL, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and the northern part of Pahang. In setting up his practice, Dr Lim aims to deliver personalized and high-quality care for his patients, including those who require long-term management. Dr Lim aims to bring high-quality healthcare to his home town; he started his clinical practice at Pantai Hospital Ipoh in April 2023 as he wanted to bring his expertise to serve the community in his home state. His special focus is on the endoscopic procedure and diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas gallbladder disorders. He is trained in liver transplantation and treatment of liver cancer.
